 | | Corinne Wayshak has been navigating the world of high tech and arts for 20 years. A longtime friend of Hakone, she drove the design and implementation of both Hakone's main web site and the Online Gift Shop through her consultancy, Engenewity. She is thrilled to have the chance to share some of her photography in the shop collection. |
Corinne is the archetype for the left brain/right brain individual.
Right Brain Activities
Corinne has a degree in film and has produced shorts and industrial films as well as published photography. She continues to build out an online site, GraceFull Arts, to make her art photography available.
One of her newest and most exciting projects is her Groovy Goddess work. The Groovy Goddess collection is a series of hip, humorous, and timeless designs that relate modern day life to mythological goddesses. Give your voice to your modern, feminine goddess power via a wide variety of apparel, personal, and gift items.
Corinne can also be seen from time to time singing and performing at Le Petit Trianon Theatre in San Jose, CA
And yes, this is the same Corinne Wayshak who is author 6696 on Rotten Tomatoes, a preeminent film review site, from a stint during which she was a film reviewer.
Left Brain Activities
Corinne has a track record of 20 years managing, designing, implementing, and taking products to market.
She currently is a principal consultant at Engenewity, a service business she founded 10 years ago. She has overseen multi-million dollar projects for an impressive array of Fortune 500 clients where she routinely integrates the inherent values of the media and hi-tech industries. With more than 75 products within her portfolio, she is a recognized innovator and has co-authored twelve filed patents in industrial design, technology, and mobile commerce.
Under her leadership as CEO, Corinne drove a startup, Confoti, to become a revenue generating company within 12 months of being founded.
She initially held a variety of design and management positions at Apple Computer.
Corinne holds a B.S. degree in Computer Science and a B.S. degree in Media & Film, both from MIT. She has conducted interdisciplinary seminars on media and technology at both MIT and San Francisco State University and has presented at numerous conferences on the impact of design and marketing on business.
