Tacit (Product Design) Challenge: the founder needed to transform an idea and complex technology into a product that could be accessible to a variety of email users in corporations. Result: the interaction and visual design for KnowledgeMail™, a product that transforms enterprise e-mail into a new kind of strategic information asset, while at the same time preserving and enhancing the privacy of every user. The ease of use of the complex underpinnings led to early sign-on of major Fortune 100 companies, as well as recognition as "Best of Show" at Microsoft Tech Ed 2000.
Strategy: defined a set of product features that would achieve the core goal of corporate knowledge acquisition but would not be rejected by the employees and respected boundaries of privacy. Design & Development: designed the user navigation, interaction, interface, and visual design for Tacit's first product KnowledgeMail.
